Join PA Chapter member, CSTA Equity Fellow alumni and current CSTA Equity Council Member Sandra Hartman as she leads us in a conversation in race and social justice within computer science. We will look at the state of CS reports and how statistics can be addressed in the classroom. Attendees will discuss different ways you can talk about social justice reforms in your classroom no matter your level of involvement from a curriculum perspective. In addition, a small shared document will be used to record a list of places attendees can go for more information like the Kapor center and the Southern Poverty Law Center. This chat will also have a panel of activists out there getting it done.
